Bit Systems Accepts 6 Satellite Tracking Systems from TCS, Inc. |

 |
Monday, October 20, 2014 TCS delivers 5 mobile and 1 fixed satellite tracking systems to Bit Systems.
The 5 mobile systems break down into transit cases to be deployed in the field. Setup time requires 2 people less than 1 hour to complete. Three different feeds were delivered with the mobile systems. A new C/Ku feed with both linear and circular polarization is the first feed. The second feed is a L/S/X-Band feed. The third feed is a GPS feed designed to auto align the system to True North based on the GPS satellites that are in the sky.
The system is controlled by the ACU-M3 located in the base of the pedestal. The customer connects to the system through a fiber optic ethernet interface. The system can track satellites using NORAD Two Line Element sets or pre-calculated trajectories.
The fixed system has an 8-Foot Reflector and an L/S/X-Band feed. This system is also controlled by the ACU-M3.
